I have decided to compare Jack and Doc Homer. Although little is known about both of them, I believe that they are similar in a lot of different ways, of course there's a lot of differences as well.
My starting adjective is going to be, in a similar sense of the two, a combination of two words, Calm and Collected. They're both a type of person/canine that knows better than to go headstrong for when they're going to do something, Like when Doc Homer know about Codi and wouldn't just ask her to tell him, also when Jack was eying the goat but used the little puppy eye tactic that lured Codi. They both knew strategies in getting what they wanted without the outburst of a conflict.
Now just to get it out of the way, Doc Homer and Jack have a HUGE difference that's not so hard to locate...guess what? they're a different species. however I was going to use the adjectives, Brave and Cunning. Now I mean in the ways of Jack being the type of ......"being" that would face his problems head on, the type of "being" that wouldn't falter from a metaphorical predictor such as a person, which we have seen from Jack's past description of being headstrong when younger. Homero on the other hand seems like the type that knows whats going on but will not let his metaphorical predictor know what he knows, someone who handles things from backstage as an example from when he went to Tucson.
Another difference I'd choose to compare would be the adjectives...Free for Jack and Controlled for Homero. Doc homer has been on a daily schedule all his life and does not know when to stop and smell the daisies, even when going senile and forgetinng many things, his muscle memory must be keeping from going his daily route and meal times. Jack is a freelancer dog that love to go exploring, I believe we have much to learn from Jack he sees a pile of grass as a bed, a small forest somewhere to stalk and many other things.
Lastly a similar adjective would be for both of them...settled. I see Homer and Jack as the type where they know where they want to be, and they don't care much about where it takes them. Jack seems to feel loving the nature around him and as long as that stays the same He'll be happy. Homero also feels happy about Grace, knowing many women who give him many things to eat and care for him if he were to fall down, He has his own places he goes to daily and seems to feel strongly that he knows where he is at least in Grace.
Man and Dog both can be similar but of course everything is different, theres not much that cannot be compared, but for this project I'll have to say that Jack The Green Bandaged Canine and Homero the Secret keeping man are more similar than different in my eyes.
